Introduction
This low-PIM 50Ω RF interface is designed for fixed feeder installations and panel-mounted RF ports. It features a 7/16 DIN (L29) M29×1.5 screw-coupling interface with a clamp-type cable termination and a panel-mount flange or bulkhead-style body. The din 7-16 connector is suitable for base station cabinet feed-through ports, antenna system bulkhead connections, broadcast equipment RF panels, and telecom infrastructure.
The DIN-KF1/2S connector mounts through a metal panel and connects to 1/2" super flexible corrugated cable.
The panel-mount body of din 7-16 connector is secured to the mounting surface through a flange or bulkhead nut. The clamp-type termination secures the cable outer conductor without requiring soldering, simplifying field installation. Depending on the specific design variant, the center contact is soldered or clamped to the cable's inner conductor.
