Connector Construction
This sam crimp connector includes an SMA female interface, center contact, dielectric insulator, outer housing and cable termination section.
The SMA female port mates with matching SMA male connectors. For assembly, LMR400 cable is stripped to expose conductor and shielding layers. The center conductor is placed inside the center contact, and the outer conductor sits within the connector's termination zone. The cable sleeve is crimped with specified tooling to finish assembly.
